Chop Suey Cake

 

2 cups flour

2 tsp. baking soda

2 cups sugar

2 eggs

1 ( 20 oz. ) can crushed pineapple, undrained

1 cup chopped nuts, optional

Frosting:

1 ( 8 oz. ) package cream cheese

1 stick butter

2 cups confectioners sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

 

Combine flour, baking soda, sugar, eggs, pineapple, and nuts

and pour into a greased shallow pan

Bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes

For Frosting:

Cream cream cheese, butter, confectioners sugar and vanilla

until smooth and ice cooled cake.
