Chocolate Crispix SnacksIngredients:14 oz Crispix Cereal2 cups chopped peanuts1/4 cup butter or margarine2 (8 oz) Hershey Milk Chocolate Candy bars, broken into pieces2 cups creamy peanut butter4 cups powdered sugar, siftedInstructions:1. In a large bowl, combine the cereal and peanuts and toss well.2. In a saucepan, melt the butter or margarine over low heat. Stir inthe chocolate and peanut butter and cook, stirring until smooth.Remove from the heat and immediately pour over the cereal andnuts, tossing to coat. Cool slightly. Transfer to a large plastic bagand add 2 cups of the sugar. Shake vigorously to mix. Add theremaining sugar and continue to shake until well coated. Serve atonce or keep tightly sealed.Variation: Use Nestle's Quick Chocolate drink mix instead of thepowdered sugar and omit the peanuts and call it Puppy Chow!
