Enjoy!Ingredients for pudding:l loaf French bread 1 quart half-and-half 2 Tbsp. butter 3 eggs 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar 2 Tbsp. almond extract 3/4 cup sliced almonds 3/4 cup raisins Preparation:Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9x13 baking dish with the butter. Break up bread into small pieces. Place in a bowl and cover with half-in-half. Cover bowl and let stand for one hour. In a separate bowl, beat together eggs, sugar and extract. Stir into bread mixture. Gently fold in raisins and almonds into bread mixture. Spread bread mixture evenly in buttered baking dish.Set on middle rack of oven and bake 50 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and cool. Pour on the sauce.SauceIngredients:8 Tbsp. butter 1 cup confectioners sugar (sifted) 1 egg (well beaten) 4 Tbsp. Amaretto liquor Preparation: In top of double boiler over simmering water, stir together butter and sugar. Stir constantly until sugar and butter are dissolved and mixture is very hot. Remove from heat. Whisk the egg well into the butter and sugar mixture. Continue whisking until sauce has come to room temperature.
