Sour Dough Starter.

1-cup sugar1-cup hot water3 tbls. Potato flakesMix well, put in glass jar (1 quart) until it ferments, in a warmplace for 7 to 10 days.

After ferments, needs to be fed once a week:

1-cup sugar1-cup hot water3 tbls potato flakes.
