Guest guest Posted April 8, 2002 Report Share Posted April 8, 2002 :: Ingredients :: 1 lb of seitan in broth 1 large onion 2 large peppers 1/4 t black pepper 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/8 cup olive oil 1T Starch mixed with 1 cup water :: Instructions :: Core and slice peppers into 1/6-1/8 inch wide strips. Peel and slice onion into 1/6-1/8 inch wide strips. Slice the seitan into 1/8 inch thick strips. Saute the seitan, peppers, and onions in olive oil in a large skillet until the peppers and onions are tender. Add black pepper, seitan broth, and soy sauce. Quickly stir ingredients in skillet until the liquid bubbles. Add Starch/water mixture and continue to stir until thickened.
