Guest guest
Chick'n and Stuffing This uses the vegetarian chicken, Fri-Chick, and a common stuffing mix. I created this recipe before Betty Crocker came out with their version of this. Course: Main Course Yields: 4-6 servings Serves: 2 or 3 children, 2-3 adults People Ingredients 1 box stuffing mix 1 can Worthington Fri-chick (save juice) 8 oz low fat shredded cheese (Healthy Choice is a good choice) Instructions Heat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare stuffing according to directions on package. Pour stuffing into greased or sprayed oven-proof baking pan. Place fri-chick randomly on top of stuffing and pour juice over stuffing, just enough to moisten the top of the stuffing. Sprinkle cheese liberally, or as desired over the fri-chick and stuffing. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is bubbling. Yields about 4 servings. Light Version Substitution: Replace butter in stuffing mix with a lite margarine. Helpful Hint:Just a little of the juice goes a long way on top of the stuffing if you pour a little juice on each part of the stuffing. ===== Language is an expression of thought.
