Creamy Dreamy Strawberry Pie

 

Crust:

 

2 C. self-rising flour

2 sticks margerine, melted

1 C. pecans, chopped

 

Mix flour, margerine, and pecans well. Press into a

9 " x 13 " pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Let crust cool completely before adding first

layer.

 

1st Layer

 

12 oz. Cool Whip

8 oz. cream cheese

3 C. confectioner's sugar

 

Blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat Cool

Whip into mixture at low speed.

 

Topping

 

1 C. water

1 C. sugar

3 T. cornstarch

1 sm. strawberry jello

 

Bring water, sugar and cornstarch to a boil and stir

until clear. (Watch this REAL closely! It get's done

FAST, then it is too thick) Let mixture cool for

about 5 minutes. Add the small box of strawberry

jello. Let cool completely, and add one pint of strawberries.
