Favorite Chocolate CakeIngredients:2 bars (4 oz. total) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Unsweetened Chocolate Baking Bars, broken into pieces1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine2 cups granulated sugar1 cup milk1/2 cup water2 large eggs1 tablespoon lemon juice or distilled white vinegar1 teaspoon vanilla extract2 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon baking powder1 teaspoon baking soda1/4 teaspoon saltDirections:PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Grease and flour two 9-inch-round baking pans orone 13 x 9-inch baking pan.MICROWAVE baking bars in small, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) powerfor 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10- to 20-second intervals,stirring until smooth; cool to room temperature.BEAT butter and sugar in large mixer bowl. Add milk, water, eggs, lemonjuice, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; beaton low speed untilblended. Beat on high speed for 2 minutes. Beat in melted chocolate.Pour into prepared pans.BAKE for 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comesout clean. Cool in pans for 20 minutes; invert onto wire racks to coolcompletely.
