Guest guest Posted May 1, 2002 Report Share Posted May 1, 2002 Broccoli and Red Pepper Stir-Fry From Prevention Ingredients 1 - small sweet red pepper, cut into bite-size strips 8 ounce fresh broccoli 1 tablespoon water 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce 1 teaspoon molasses 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1/8 teaspoon cracked black pepper Preparation - Estimated cooking time: 12 min. - 1 Cut the broccoli florets into bit-size pieces and thinly slice the stems. In a small bowl, combine the water, soy sauce, molasses, ginger and black pepper; set aside. 2 Spray an unheated large skillet with no-stick spray. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli to the skillet and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add the red peppers and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes or until the vegetables are just tender. 3 Add the soy sauce mixture to the vegetables. Gently toss until coated.
