Peppermint Ice Box Dessert2/3-lb. vanilla wafers3 T. butter1-1/2 pints whipping cream1/2-lb. miniature marshmallows3/4 c. pecans, chopped8 sticks peppermint candiesCrush vanilla wafers until fine.

Mix with softened butter.

Put 1/2 of mixture into 8-in. x 11-in. pan. Pat it down.

Whip cream til stiff and add the marshmallows.

Add pecans and crushed candy (crushed fine).

Stir till thoroughly mixed and spread over vanilla wafer crumbs.

Cover with remaining crumbs. Chill thoroughly for 24 hours.
