Guest guest Posted May 20, 2002 Report Share Posted May 20, 2002 Skillet Cabbage 4 Servings 1 medium head green cabbage 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper 2 to 3 teaspoons sugar salt and pepper to taste Remove outside leaves; wash cabbage. Cut into wedges; coarsely shred cabbage with knife and discard core. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat until hot. Add cabbage, garlic, red papper and sugar. Season with salt and pepper.
