Guest guest Posted May 20, 2002 Report Share Posted May 20, 2002 Sweet and Sour Gluten 1 Tbsp. oil 2 cups bite-sized pieces of cooked gluten 1 - 20 oz. can unsweetened pineapple chunks 1/3 - 1/2 cup honey (or alternative liquid sweetener) 1/4 cup lemon juice 2 Tbsp. ketchup 2 Tbsp. soy sauce 1 clove garlic, minced 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped 1/2 cup carrot, sliced thin 2 Tbsp. cornstarch 2 Tbsp. cold water Heat oil in a non-stick skillet. Brown gluten pieces lightly with garlic, green pepper, an carrot. Add the rest of the ingredients except cornstarch and water. BRing to a boil; simmer 5 minutes. Dissolve cornstarch in cold water; add to skillet. Simmer 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
