Guest guest Posted May 20, 2002 Report Share Posted May 20, 2002 Potato Skin Nut Loaf 3/4 cup pecans or other chopped nuts 1 tsp. beef-flavored seasoning (McKay's, Bill's Best, Marmite, Savorex, etc.) 1 Tbsp. oil 1 medium onion, chopped 2 large potatoes, red (with skins, chopped) 3/4 cup cracker crumbs 2 Tbsp. vital wheat gluten flour (Do-Pep) 1 Tbsp. water 1/4 cup celery, chopped 1/2 tsp. sage salt to taste Braise onion in oil. Add the beef flavored seasoning. Mix chopped nuts, potatoes, gluten flour, water, and cracker crumbs together in a bowl. Then add the celery, sage, and salt. Place in an oiled loaf pan.
