Guest guest Posted July 3, 2002 Report Share Posted July 3, 2002 BLACK BEAN HUMMUS INGREDIENTS: • 2 cups cooked black beans, drained well • 1 cup cooked garabanzo beans, drained well • 1 tablespoon roasted garlic** • 1 teaspoon ground cumin • 2 tblsp. Tahini, [sesame seed paste] Use 1 tblsp. Asian sesame oil if Tahini not available. • 1 tblsp. lemon juice or lime juice, fresh • 1/4 cup virgin olive oil • Salt & pepper to taste • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper optional PREPARATION: • Puree the ingredients in a food processor and chill.
