Guest guest Posted August 6, 2002 Report Share Posted August 6, 2002 Toaster French Toast Ingredients 2/3 cup milk 2 eggs 8 slices apple-cinnamon bread or cinnamon-raisin bread Cooking oil Margarine or butter (optional) Maple-flavored syrup (optional) Directions: 1. In a shallow dish beat together the milk and eggs. 2. Dip both sides of bread in beaten mixture. Let stand until well moistened. On a griddle or in a large skillet cook bread in hot oil over medium-high heat about 2 minutes per side or until golden. 3. Cool on waxed paper. Place in a tightly covered container and store in the refrigerator. To serve, toast in the toaster. Serve with margarine or butter and syrup, if desired. Makes 4 servings.
