Zucchini Chocolate Cake

 

Time: 1 hour 20 minutes (20 min prep, 1 hr cooking)

Makes: 18 servings

 

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup oil

1 3/4 cups sugar

2 eggs

1/2 cup buttermilk or sour milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 cup cocoa

2 1/2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2 cups zucchini, grated

3/4 cup chocolate chips

1/2 cup walnuts

 

1. Cream butter then add oil and sugar; mix.

2. Add next 8 ingredients; mix well.

3. Fold in the chips and nuts by hand.

4. Put in an 9x13 pan.

5. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until done.
