Guest guest Posted September 18, 2002 Report Share Posted September 18, 2002 LASAGNA 10 large lasagna noodles2 (8-oz) cans tomato sauce2 cloves garlic, minced2 tsp fresh oregano1 (10-oz) package frozen broccoli, thawed and drained1 cup shredded carrot1 (16-oz) container ricotta cheese1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese1 cup shredded mozzarella cheeseCook lasagna noodles according to directions on package and drain.Combine tomato sauce, garlic, and oregano in a small bowl and mix well.Combine broccoli, carrots, ricotta, and Parmesan cheese in another bowl and mix well.Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish and preheat oven to 350F degrees.Spread 1/4 of tomato mixture on bottom of greased pan. Place 3-4 noodles on top of sauce. Spread half of broccoli mixture over noodles. Spoon 1/4 of tomato mixture over the broccoli. Add three more noodles on top. Spread with remaining broccoli mixture and top with 1/4 of tomato sauce. Top with remaining noodles and the rest ofthe tomato sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
