Guest guest Posted September 20, 2002 Report Share Posted September 20, 2002 Baked Pumpkin Bread Servings: 12Ingredients:1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon ground cinnamon1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg1 cup solid pack pumpkin puree1 cup packed brown sugar1/2 cup buttermilk1 egg2 tablespoons butter, softenedDirections:1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).2. Sift the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg into a large bowl. Mix in the pumpkin, brown sugar, buttermilk, egg and butter until well blended. Pour into a 9x5 inch loaf pan and smooth the top.3.
