Guest guest Posted September 30, 2002 Report Share Posted September 30, 2002 apple and cranberry wontons Prep Time | 20 min Cook Time | 18 min Ingredients 2 medium apple(s), grated 1/2 cup(s) dried cranberries 2 tbsp packed light brown sugar 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg 1/4 tsp ground allspice 16 item(s) wonton skin(s) 1 serving(s) cooking spray 1 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon Instructions Preheat oven to 400°F. In a medium bowl, mix apples through allspice together. Place one wonton skin on a flat work surface and spoon 1 tablespoon of apple filling into the center. Moisten the edges of the wonton skin with water and fold in half to form a triangle; press edges to create a seal. Repeat with the remaining wontons. Arrange the filled wontons on a non-greased baking sheet and lightly coat wontons with nonstick cooking spray; sprinkle with granulated sugar and cinnamon. Bake until golden, about 16 minutes; turn and bake 2 more minutes. Yields 2 wontons per serving. ===== Language is an expression of thought.
