Plant foods like legumes (beans, lentils, peas), nuts

and seeds are especially high in protein, while

veggies and grains contain varying amounts.

Vegetarians must be especially diligent about getting

adequate amounts of vitamin B-12 and vitamin D,

calcium, iron, and zinc. But vegetarian or not, eating

a wide variety of foods is the best way to get optimal

nutrition.
