Guest guest Posted October 8, 2002 Report Share Posted October 8, 2002 Mesclun Salad with Pears, Goat Cheese & Toasted Walnuts Here is a beautiful salad to complement any autumn feast, with ripe juicy pear slices, creamy goat cheese & toasted walnuts. 6 cups Mesclun salad mix 2 ripe chilled pears, peeled, cored and sliced 4 oz. fresh goat cheese, crumbled 1/4 cup walnut pieces, lightly toasted on a baking sheet Arrange mesclun greens on chilled plates. Add pear slices to each serving and top with goat cheese crumbles and walnut pieces. Drizzle lightly with your favorite fruity vinaigrette, or simple balsamic and olive oil.
