Bread Slicing Tips

 

 

Improper slicing can ruin a beautiful homemade or bakery loaf of bread. Slice

fresh bread using a knife with a serrated blade. For best results, remember to

use a " sawing " motion and press downward as little as possible. Let the knife do

the work! Keep the top of the knife perpendicular to the loaf to insure even

slices. Always allow bread to cool on a rack before attempting to cut it.
