Guest guest Posted October 15, 2002 Report Share Posted October 15, 2002 Chutney Dip Prep Time: 10 minutes Ingredients 1 8-ounce carton dairy sour cream or plain yogurt 1/4 cup chutney, finely snipped 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1/4 teaspoon onion powder 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder Toasted coconut (optional) Fruit, vegetables, melba toast rounds, or crackers Directions: 1. In a mixing bowl combine sour cream or yogurt, chutney, lemon juice, onion powder, and garlic powder. Cover and chill for 1 to 2 hours before serving. If desired, garnish with toasted coconut. Serve as a dip with fruit, vegetables, melba toast rounds, or crackers. Makes about 1-1/4 cups dip (20, 1-tablespoon servings). Make-Ahead Tip: Prepare dip. Cover and chill up to 2 hours before serving.
