Guest guest Posted November 6, 2002 Report Share Posted November 6, 2002 Brown Rice with Vegetables 1 cup rice 1 cup onion 1 garlic clove 1tbsp. tomato paste 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 cups water 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1tsp. salt 1/2 cup celery 1/2 stick butter 1 cup green pepper Brown onion, pepper, celery and garlic in butter for 5 mins. Add seasonings and blend well. Brown rice and pour the vegetables over it.
