Guest guest Posted November 6, 2002 Report Share Posted November 6, 2002 Mushroom Gravy 1/2 cup Earth Balance margarine 2-1/2 cups cubed Portobello mushrooms 1 cup diced onion 1-1/2 tsp. salt, divided 1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour, or unbleached white flour 2 cups Silk Soymilk, original flavor 2 cups water 1 Tbsp. Bill's Best Chik'nish seasoning Sauté margarine, mushrooms, onion and 1/2 tsp. salt until brown. Stir in flour and brown the flour. Whisk Bill's Best into a small amount of the water. Add liquids to browned mushroom mixture slowly stirring constantly until smooth.
