HEAVEN ON EARTH SALAD DRESSING

 

This is a great salad dressing. Your kids will invite

you to their dinner parties if you promise to bring

some along. Remember to take it out of the

refrigerator half an hour before preparing the salad.

Shake hard or stir before opening. Enjoy.

 

1/2 C extra virgin mild-tasting olive oil

 

1/3 C fresh lemon juice

 

2 large cloves of garlic, crushed

 

1/2 tsp. seasoned salt (Vege-sal or Spike)

 

dash ground pepper

 

1 tsp. mustard powder

 

approximately 1/2 tsp. each fresh or dried oregano,

basil, tarragon leaves, and mint

 

Combine in 8 oz. glass jar. Screw lid on tightly.

Shake. Taste -- it may need more lemon juice, salt, or

garlic -- and adjust seasonings.

 

Before storing in refrigerator, place jar in the

center of a square of paper towel, bring up the ends,

and slip a rubber band around the jar.
