Level of Difficulty | Easy For an exotic side dish, try broccoli rabe. It`s a leafy green vegetable with 6- to 9-inch stalks and scattered pieces of small broccoli-like buds. Ingredients 6 cup(s) broccoli rabe, rinsed and large stems removed (about 2 bunches) 2 tsp olive oil 2 medium garlic clove(s), minced 1/8 tsp black pepper, or to taste 1/8 tsp table salt, or to taste 2 tbsp pine nuts, toasted Instructions Blanch broccoli rabe in a large pot of boiling water for 2 minutes; drain. In a large skillet, heat oil. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Add broccoli rabe and cook 4 minutes; season with salt and pepper. Add pine nuts, toss and serve.
