Ingredients 4 cups (32 oz/960g) diced fresh fruit, such as watermelon, honeydew or crenshaw melon, strawberries or pitted sweet cherries 1/4 cup (1 1/2 oz/50g) sugar 1 tablespoon fresh lemon or lime juice Preparation - Estimated cooking time: over 60 minutes - 1 In a food processor, puree fruit, sugar, and lemon or lime juice. Pour into a shallow metal pan and freeze for at least 2 hours. 2 Break the frozen fruit into pieces with a fork and place in a food processor. Process until slushy. Pour the mixture into eight 3-oz (90ml) paper cups and cover the cups with aluminum foil. Insert a wooden treat stick in the center through the foil. Freeze until solid. 3 To serve, remove the foil and peel cups from smoothie pop.
