Guest guest Posted November 25, 2002 Report Share Posted November 25, 2002 Candied Winter Squash 1-2 Winter squash (Acorn, Hubbard, or Butternut) 1 cup Sugar 3 ounces Butter, melted Peel, seed, and dice the squash. Cover with water and cook until just soft. Drain. Place a layer of squash in a casserole dish. Top with 1/2-cup sugar and 3 Tablespoons of butter. Repeat the layers.
