Guest guest Posted December 31, 2002 Report Share Posted December 31, 2002 Smoky Collard Greens Servings: 6 Ingredients: 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 cup chopped onion 2 cloves garlic 2 pounds collard greens - rinsed, trimmed and chopped 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 tablespoon molasses 1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring salt and ground black pepper to taste Directions: 1. Heat oil in a large pot. Saute onion and garlic until onions are translucent. Place chopped collard greens in pot, and cover with water. Stir in brown sugar, molasses and liquid smoke. Season with salt and pepper.
