New research suggests that a few drinks a week can

reduce your chances of heart disease. Be careful to

steer clear of high-calorie drinks -- avoid sweet

mixers, like soda, tonic and juice. Otherwise, you may

gain weight -- the biggest risk factor for heart

disease. Your best bets: Wine spritzers and light

beer.
