Guest guest
Breakfast/Energy Bars 2 bananas 1/4 cup honey 1/2 cup molasses 1 T cornstarch 1/2 cup applesauce 1/4 cup water 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup whole wheat flour 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp cloves generous handful each of raisins, chopped walnuts, chopped pecans, sunflower seeds, chopped prunes, chopped almonds, or whatever else you may have at hand 3 cups quick oats Mix bananas, molasses, honey, cornstarch, applesauce, water, andvanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients, leaving the oats andseeds/nuts until the end.Lightly spray cookie sheet with non-stick vegetable spray. Form dough into 16 balls, and flatten and shape into large, roundcookies. Dough will be grainy, not smooth like batter. Bake for 12-15 minutes in a 350 degree oven until bottoms are lightly browned and cookie holds together. Cool, and enjoy. Note: The dough can also be pressed into a shallow cookie pan, baked, and cut into cereal bars. ===== *********** My Special Thought To You: There's A Blessin' In Pressin'....On The Upward Way!
