Guest guest Posted June 20, 2003 Report Share Posted June 20, 2003 Orange Marmalade Bread 3 cups all-purpose flour 4 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 2 eggs -- slightly beaten 3/4 cup orange marmalade 3/4 cup milk 1/4 cup honey 2 tablespoons vegetable oil Directions: Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Into large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in nuts. In small bowl, combine eggs, marmalade, milk, honey and oil; blend well. Add to flour mixture; stir only until flour is well moistened (batter will be lumpy). Turn batter into prepared pan. Bake 65 to 70 minutes or until lightly browned and wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely on rack.
