Guest guest Posted March 31, 2004 Report Share Posted March 31, 2004 Apple Fritters 1-cup flour 1-teaspoon salt 1-teaspoon baking powder 2 teaspoons sugar 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 cup plus 1 Tablespoon Milk 1-teaspoon salt 1-teaspoon vanilla 1-teaspoon cinnamon 4 medium cooking apples (cored, peeled, and sliced into 8 wedges) In a bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar. In another bowl, combine the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients and mix well. Dip apples into the batter and fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve with hot maple syrup or confectioners sugar.
