Guest guest
Thanks for the butterfly contribution, Sav. Can anyone top that? Things aren't so good, re our insect friends, as over a third of British butterflies have "declined alarmingly" in the past 15 years. The charity, Butterfly Conservation and the Biological Records Centre, has found that 20 of Britain's 56 resident species have declined since 1984. Some good news is that some butterflies are on the increase - the orange tip, Essex skipper (no Nasser Hussein jokes please!), speckled wood, white admiral, marbled white, and silver-washed fritillary. Oh yes, Andy Savage has a nice little butterfly screensaver available. Go visit http://www.andysav.free-online.co.uk/webzine.htm He also does music. You are listening to his early epic, 'Learning to Crawl'. Paul.
