Things to ban?

Hi,

The British Government plans to ban fox hunting (though it's dragging its

feet). What other things would you like to see banned re cruelty to living

things?

Regards,

Paul.

=====================================================

My own view is that any sport that involves inflicting pain and cruelty on

any sort of animal just for fun should be banned. I include fishing in this.

Plus of course bull fighting, hare coursing, deer hunting, badger baiting

etc.

But at the same time the human being is an omnivorous species, and I have

come to the view that hunting in order to eat what you kill is morally

acceptable, so long as the hunting is sustainable and humane.

A bit of a controversial view maybe, in that I believe for instance that

fishing is wrong if you catch and then release your fish (I think the fish

suffer horribly by doing this), but fine if you catch, kill and eat the

fish. But like I say, it must be done in a sustainable and humane way, non

of this deep sea trawler genocide.

Andy.

I say ban animal testing!!!!!! Gillette kills thousands of rabbits top ensure

that consumers don't cut their legs! How many more rabbits must suffer/die to

save nicks in people's legs?! Or how many rabbits must suffer to keep shampoo

from the burning in people's eyes?! There are many other laboratory tests

that don't use animals! Proctor and Gamble is the worst manufacturing company

that contributes to animal cruelty! I ban them too!
