Guest guest Posted March 12, 1999 Report Share Posted March 12, 1999 * Exported from MasterCook * Spinach -And-Caramelized Onion Pizza Recipe By : Weight Watchers, March 1999 Serving Size : 5 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Main Dishes, Vegetarian Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- Cooking spray 1 large onion -- thinly sliced and separated into rings 2 tablespoons water 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar 2 packages frozen creamed spinach -- thawed (10-oz. each) 1 package Boboli -- (10-ounce) 3/4 cup crumbled feta cheese with garlic and herbs 1. Preheat oven to 450°. 2. Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot. Add onion; saute 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Reduce heat to medium; saute 10 minutes or until golden brown; adding water; 1 tablespoon at a time, during last 3 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in balsamic vinegar. 3. Spread creamed spinach evenly over pizza crust; top with onion mixture and cheese. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes or until crust is crisp and topping is thoroughly heated. Yield: 5 servings (serving size: 1 slice).
