Guest guest Posted March 20, 1999 Report Share Posted March 20, 1999 * Exported from MasterCook II * Hearty Pancakes Recipe By : Mary McDougall Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pancakes Breakfast Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 Cups Whole Wheat Pastry Flour 2 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder 2 1/4 Cups Water 1 Tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice -- optional Mix dry ingredients together. Add water and mix well. Ladle onto a hot non-stick griddle, turning once when bubbles form on top and edges are beginning to dry. Helpful Hints: Change spices used to vary the taste of the pancakes. Try some Italian Herb Seasoning for use as a dinner pancake with a vegetable sauce.
