Guest guest Posted March 25, 1999 Report Share Posted March 25, 1999 Here's another recipe I adapted: * Exported from MasterCook * Pizza Dip Recipe By : adapted from Southern Living Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:15 Categories : " Post " Appetizers, Dips, Etc. Snacks Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 8 oz pkg light cream cheese -- softened 1/2 cup light sour cream 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper 3/4 cup pizza sauce 1/2 cup chopped vegetarian " pepperoni " * 1/4 cup chopped green onions 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese tortilla chips or crackers Beat first 5 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until well-blended. Spread in a lightly greased 9-inch pie plate. Spoon pizza sauce evenly over top, sprinkle with chopped veggie " pepperoni " , and top with green onions. Bake at 350 ° F for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and bake 10 more minutes or until cheese melts. Serve with tortilla chips or crackers. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : Yves is the brand I use. My non-vegetarian stepsons ate if for a year on pizza thinking it was " real " pepperoni (they never said a word).
