This basic cream sauce is used in the recipe I posted yesterday for Scalloped

Corn and Potatoes.

Basic Cream Sauce

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

3 Tbs Flour, Lightly Browned

2 Cups Nonfat Milk

1/2 Tsp Salt

1/8 Tsp White Pepper

 

Add milk to flour over medium heat, stirring with a wire whisk until

creamy. Add salt and pepper to taste.

 

Each serving: 1 ounce (2 TBS)

Per serving:

14.3 calories

Total Fat 0.062g

Saturated fat: 0.034g
