Guest guest Posted March 25, 1999 Report Share Posted March 25, 1999 This basic cream sauce is used in the recipe I posted yesterday for Scalloped Corn and Potatoes. * Exported from MasterCook II * Basic Cream Sauce Recipe By : Susan Powter Serving Size : 18 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Sauce Susan Powter Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 Tbs Flour, Lightly Browned 2 Cups Nonfat Milk 1/2 Tsp Salt 1/8 Tsp White Pepper Add milk to flour over medium heat, stirring with a wire whisk until creamy. Add salt and pepper to taste. Each serving: 1 ounce (2 TBS) Per serving: 14.3 calories Total Fat 0.062g Saturated fat: 0.034g - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : Use this in the recipe for Scalloped Corn and Potatoes.
