Add garlic; saute 2 to 3 minutes. Add rice; cook until thoroughly heated, about 5 minutes. Stir in green onions, parsley and Parmesan cheese. Makes 6 servings. Add onion, mushrooms and garlic. Cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until onion is tender. Add red bell pepper cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes. Add rice, pecans, thyme, salt and pepper. Cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Makes 6 servings. PREPARATION - Cook rice in beef or mushroom broth. To toast pecans, place on baking sheet; bake 5 to 7 minutes in 350-degree oven, or until pecans are just beginning to darken and are fragrant.
