Honey Mustard Dressing (Nettie Cronish)

 

Recipe By : Nettie's Vegetarian Kitchen, by Nettie Cronish

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/2 cup low-fat yogurt

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon dijon mustard

1 tablespoon white wine vinegar

2 tablespoons green onions -- thinly sliced

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

 

Combine yogurt, honey, mustard, vinegar, green onions and pepper.

 

Stir with a fork until thoroughly blended.

 

Makes 3/4 cups. Keeps 3 days covered in refrigerator.

 

Per 1 Tablespoon Serving: calories 13, protein 1 g, carbohydrates 2 g, fat - g.

 

This salad dressing is made with low-fat yogurt and can also be used as a

spread. The honey rounds out the flavor without making the dressing too

sweet. Use a good quality mustard and you can pour it on anything.
