Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

-------- ------------ --------------------------------

8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate -- chopped

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

pinch salt

6 tablespoons butter or margarine -- room temperature

7 tablespoons granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 cup white chocolate chips

1 1/2 cups dried blueberries

30 pecan halves

Preheat the oven to 350 °F (175°C).

Oil 2 large cookie sheets. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate, then set aside to

cool. Combine the flour, cocoa, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. In a large

bowl, cream the butter. Add the sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Add the

eggs and beat until smooth. Stir in the melted chocolate. Add the dry

ingredients and mix well. Fold in the white chocolate chips and blueberries.

Drop by tablespoons onto the prepared cookie sheets. Press a pecan half on top

of each cookie. Bake until the cookies look dry and cracked but still feel soft

when pressed lightly.

Remove from the oven and let stand on the sheet for 5 minutes.

Remove to a rack and let cool completely. As variation, you can drizzle melted

white chocolate on top of the cookies after they're baked, instead of using the

pecan halves.
