Hi Laura,

I missed your post, but I use a pressure cooker about 3 times a week. What

did you want to know? The Lorna Sass books are the best cookbooks I've

found for learning how to use a pressure cooker. Do you already own one or

are you planning to buy?

I don't know how I got along without one! Dried (soaked) beans are cooked

in 12 minutes at high pressure -- unsoaked beans in 20 minutes! Risotto

takes about 5 minutes (with no stirring).

Karen and Candace,

I don't have a pressure cooker yet, but I'm thinking of getting one. I

posted some recipes, from Food & Wine I think, that sounded great. I'm all

for quick and easy food. A lot of things want my wallet's attention right

now, so I think I might wait until Fall when I think I would use it more

for soups, stews and such. I'll keep my eye out for Sass' books.
