Guest guest
Greetings to Everyone. I'm going to Taipei for 2 weeks this Saturday and need some ideas about what to take to eat. I'll be in a small apartment that has a small frig, burner, microwave, no oven. Vegetables and fruits can be obtained at a small market nearby. What can I take to supplement this diet, keeping in mind the weight limits of flying? I'm a new vegetarian, not vegan yet. Any ideas? Appreciate the advice. Guest guest
I think you should take *me*! Seriously though, what about those little round " box " meal things that you just add hot water to? There are bean & rice dishes, soups, pasta things, etc. Karen >BooKitty <pduvall > >Greetings to Everyone. Guest guest
Hi, I can't help but noticed that you are going to Taipei. That's where I am from. As far as vegetarian's concern, there are plenty of vegetarian variety of food there. If you have friends there, they probably can tell you where to find vegetarian restaurants. Usually, they are not expensive. In Taipei, I think it is very easy to find all kinds delicious food around. I don't know where specifically you are going, but I think you can almost find everything you need close by. As for instant packed noodle or meals, you can for sure find all varieties. The convenient stores (eg. 7-11) are everywhere and open 24 hrs a day. I don't know other parts of Taiwan, but you don't have to worry about what or where to eat in Taipei. hope you have a nice and fun trip! Theresa At 11:17 AM 4/19/99 -0400, you wrote: > " Karen C. Guest guest
There is a " fruit & veggie " wash that I have seen advertised in Vegetarian Times magazine and have seen the same product at health food stores. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of it. It comes in a spray bottle. Karen P.S. I am very small and think I could fit in the suitcase. > " Karen C.
