Guest guest
I appreciate that Resa told us that she had made the recipes that she posted from Madison's book. This book REALLY intimidates me. I bought it the moment it came out and have made exactly two things from it--two soups that Karen Greenlee recommended. I think that it intimidates me because it is big, uses a lot of butter and olive oil, and uses a lot of ingredients that I have to go far out of my way to get. I routinely eliminate or drastically reduce butter/oil from recipes, but her book uses so much that I think the results would be very different. Anyway, folks, if you post recipes that you have actually made from this book, I hope that you will tell us. Hopefully that will inspire me to try more. We went out of town for the day and I took the book with me, looking for recipes that interested me so that I could scan them and share, and reading the introduction and first chapters. Wow, what a lot of information. Now I need to remember that it is there. Kathleen At 09:13 PM 5/1/99 -0400, you wrote: >RST G <synapse7 > >I love this book.
