In a large skillet, bring the water to a boil. Add the asparagus; cook, covered, about 4 minutes or to desired doneness; drain. 2. Return the asparagus to the skillet and add the butter or margarine; cook over medium heat, tossing until butter or margarine melts. Add the lemon juice and salt; toss.
