Creamy Parmesan Green Beans

1/3 cup heavy cream

6 cups whole green beans -- ends trimmed

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

 

In a large skillet, heat the heavy cream to boiling. Add the green beans;

cook, stirring, until the liquid evaporates and the beans are tender-crisp

and bright green, about 3 minutes. Stir in the Parmesan, salt, and pepper.

Cook, stirring, until beans are coated with slightly melted cheese mixture.
