Guest guest Posted May 11, 1999 Report Share Posted May 11, 1999 * Exported from MasterCook * Farfelle w/Fresh Tomatoes & Basil Recipe By : Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pasta Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 12 oz. farfelle (bow ties) pasta 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 cloves garlic -- minced 1 pound ripe fresh tomatoes -- coarsely chopped 1 cup basil leaves -- torn into pieces freshly ground pepper grated Parmesan cheese Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Add tomatoes and cook, stirring, just until tomatoes begin to soften, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Drain pasta and place on a large warm serving platter. Top with tomato mixture and basil; toss well.
