Spaghetti with Tomatoes and Garlic

3 large ripe tomatoes

8 ounces thin spaghetti -- uncooked

1 teaspoon salt

4 cloves garlic -- minced

5 ripe olives -- sliced

1/4 cup canned chopped green chiles

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice

1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro or parsley

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

 

Chop tomatoes; drain. Cook spaghetti according to package directions,

using 1 teaspoon salt; drain.

Combine garlic, olives, chiles, olive oil, lime juice, cilantro, salt,

and pepper; add tomatoes to mixture. Toss tomato mixture with spaghetti;

serve immediately.
